Japanese metal band SURVIVE working on next full album, coming in 2022

Tokyo-based “Samurais from Hell,” SURVIVE – active in the world for over 20 years – is currently in the studio, working on the band’s next full album, which will be released in 2022. The band wants to share their studio experience with their fans, by posting updates to the jam session studio vlog.

The group said:
“We have lost the place to work with this pandemic. It’s a concert or a tour. This pandemic has kept our band from playing and touring.
We decided to use the time we have now to create new music in the studio.
We will be sharing this studio experience with our fans over the next few months as a Vlog. We are also looking for a label to release this new album in Europe and Russia.
We’re still composing the songs, so there are jam sessions to help us compose the final songs.
The plan is to release this album in 2022. We can’t wait to see you all live very soon!

1. Rules of lies
2.Snuff (sliding knot blanket)
3. Immortal warriors

Tokyo’s Thrash Heroes SURVIVE – active in the world for over 20 years – have forged their own indelible path within the jmetal scene. It was 1998 when former Death File guitarist and mastermind Nemo decided to form his own thrash metal band which quickly became the juggernaut known as SURVIVE. Over the next two decades, the band performed in many big festivals (Loud Park, Beast Fest, Multiplex-moto event, Korean Live Rock, Formoz Festival, Asia Metal Festival, Dongducheon Rock Festival, Trendkill Extreme Feast, etc.) and has toured all over the world with acts such as Behemoth, United, Killswitch Engage, Dope, Pulling Teeth, Testament, Outrage, Anthrax, Hatebreed, Napalm Death, Amon Amarth, Venom Inc, At The Gates, to name a few a few, cementing their place in Japanese metal history. Still going strong, SURVIVE’s latest album “Immortal Warriors” was released in the Japanese market on September 12, 2018 and a year later, on September 24, 2019, the album was released worldwide via Sliptrick Records. SURVIVE has lost none of its verve and “Immortal Warriors” is an absolute must-see for fans of this fantastic, often overlooked group.

In September 2020, SURVIVE released their digital EP and single “The Road to Hell is Paved by Goodwill”, feat. Tony “Demolition Man” Dolan from VENOM INC. Watch the official clip, here: https://youtu.be/OpDCsCP_8FA
