The story of Iron Maiden’s breakup with frontman Bruce Dickinson will be the focus of an all-new episode of Breaking The Band on Reelz TV on February 6th.

“Iron Maiden: Breaking the Band” premieres Sunday, Feb. 6 at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT. Here is the official synopsis: “Formed in the late 70s and racking up over 100 million albums sold, British band Iron Maiden have been the undisputed kings of heavy metal for four decades.

“Strong, proud and famous for their spectacular album covers and no-holds-barred approach to effecting their stellar rise from pubs and clubs in London England to stadiums around the world is thanks to the founder’s uncompromising musical vision and bassist Steve Harris.

“But that same leadership sparked long-running tensions, particularly when the band hired flamboyant and hugely talented vocalist Bruce Dickinson. Not only did he constantly push Harris aside to take center stage, but he also had many of his own musical ideas.

“As the band exhausted themselves touring the world relentlessly performing their massive gigs, these tensions loomed over the band and ultimately rocked Iron Maiden to its foundations in the early 90s.

“Sharing their experiences with the band, former guitarist Dennis Stratton and Dave ‘Lights’ Beazley who was the lighting and production designer for their famous live shows.”
