Fozzy drummer Frank Fontsere leaves the group; is replaced by Grant Brooks

American heavy metal band Fozzy has officially split from one of its founding members. The band’s drummer Frank Fontsere left the band after being with them since their founding in 1999.

Loudwire has announced that the metal band will replace Fontsere with drummer Grant Brooks. The group wrote on Twitter that they are “delighted to unleash the sheer energy and talent that Grant brings to the group and we are ready to EXPLODE in 2022”. It is clear that the group does not intend to slow down after the departure of one of their members!

Fontsere has appeared on seven albums produced by Fozzy, and it is not known if he played a role in their upcoming projects. Recently, Fozzy has been criticized for not properly social distancing on their shows. Fozzy’s lead singer Chris Jericho also recently performed on rock band KISS KISS Kruise.
